Ontario Hospital Association Welcomes New President and CEO

June 5, 2012

Today, the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) welcomed its new President and CEO, Pat Campbell, to the organization.

Having previously served as the CEO of Echo: Improving Women's Health In Ontario, and as President and CEO of both Grey Bruce Health Services and Women's College Hospital, Ms. Campbell brings a wealth of experience and perspective to the OHA. Ms. Campbell also has an undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from York University.

"Pat will be an excellent leader for the OHA, its members and their health system partners," said the Chair of the OHA's Board of Directors, Janet Davidson, O.C. "She is a proven and accomplished health care leader, with experience in rural, community and academic hospital environments."

"I am thrilled to be joining the OHA," said Ms. Campbell. "I am joining the organization at a challenging time for Ontario's health care system, and I look forward to working with hospitals, LHINs, the government, and health care providers to drive forward the kinds of health system improvements Ontarians expect."

The OHA is the voice of Ontario's public hospitals. Founded in 1924, the OHA uses advocacy, education and partnerships to build a strong, innovative and sustainable health care system for all Ontarians.
